On Thursday, Dec 4th, our team set out to Mexico for a missionary trip. The team consisted of  students who came from all around North America and the States to attend Kingdom Domain College here in Sacramento, California. The students were accompanied by members of Flame of Fire Ministry (FFM). FFM has a vision from God to go and spread the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven. Mark 16:15, “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’”  Here at FFM we equip people of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds to step out into the world and bring the good news to every person. The good news Jesus proclaimed brought healing to the sick, freedom to the prisoners, hope for the broken-hearted, and sight for the blind. The students have been equipped to do just that.

In under three weeks, the students prepared and organized the trip! After having heard their experiences in Mexico one can’t help but marvel at God’s perfect timing. During the second day, December 6th, the unexpected happened: the plans which our team had made got canceled and instead they ended up going to a village that was heavily affected by recent fires.

As one door closed, God was faithful to open another one. This village was in desperate need of hope and restoration. As the team began to pray and minister to this community, they all united and began to pray for financial breakthrough. Within minutes, a famous boxer who grew up in that village became an answer to their prayers. He blessed the locals with finances and became a part of rebuilding and reconstructing this very village! This is one of the many great examples of how God moves through simple prayers and always comes through with an answer for all of His children.

Another way we spread the good news was by ministering to the children in the nearby orphanage. Our team has prepared gifts to bring to the orphanage, and we witnessed so much love and joy from those kids as each one received their own box of Christmas presents!

A 9-year-old Jose shared with the leader from the team that he really wanted legos. And, the way we prepared and sorted out all the gifts was intentional for each age group. Certain gifts were bought for certain ages, and legos were bought specifically for the ten-year-old category. Only ONE lego set was bought for a 9-year-old, and this is the lego set that Jose received. It says “ask and you shall receive,” and Jose did just that! In Matthew 7:7 it is written, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” It’s such a beautiful sight to see how God made sure that this one child got exactly what he wanted. Jesus loves the children and He said in Matthew 19:14 “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.”

There were many more answered prayers and also healing testimonies from some of the people. One of them was a man named Joelle. His vision was impaired and after the team prayed for healing, his eyesight was completely restored! This is literally the heart of Jesus. As He walked this earth, miracles and healings followed him everywhere. Being His disciples we walk in the same authority!

Jesus brought people the good news of redemption, healing, freedom, reconciliation, hope, and vision. This is the good news of Heaven! In Heaven there is no sickness, there is no poverty, there is no captivity, and there is no blindness! Just as Jesus brought the Kingdom of Heaven down to Earth, we also reflect this by praying for people, their needs, healings, deliverances, and miracles! We want to thank each person who sowed into this work, and we want to assure you that this seed did not go to waste. Many people were impacted, experienced the power and the love of the Father, and received a word of God for their life. Watch a short preview below of some of the moments from this trip!
